Easy, Comfortable Bike Rentals for the Whole Crew
Leave the car behind and cruise like a local. Sullivan’s Island was made for biking—quiet streets, ocean views, and plenty to explore around every corner.
Pedal to the beach, stop for shrimp tacos at Poe’s Tavern, or catch the sunset from Station 22. It’s a better way to see the island, and more fun than circling for parking.
Rentals We Have Available
Just Beachy IOP offers high-quality bike rentals on Sullivan’s Island for riders of all ages. Whether you need a small bike for a beginner or a cruiser built for beach roads, we’ve got the right fit for everyone in the family.
16" Kids’ Bikes
Our 16” kids’ bikes are just right for little riders ages 4 to 6. They’re lightweight, easy to handle, and built for tagging along on family rides around the island. No tricky gears, no fuss. Just hop on and go. We’ve got optional training wheels, too, if they’re still getting the hang of it.
20" and 24" Youth Bikes
Our 20" and 24" bikes hit the sweet spot for kids who've outgrown their first set of wheels. Best for ages 7 to 12, they’re light enough to handle but tough enough for longer adventures.
Enjoy riding from your beach rental to the Sullivan’s Island Lighthouse or weaving through shady backroads with the crew. With smooth brakes and three easy gears, these bikes are built for island exploring.
Adult Beach Cruisers
Our adult cruisers are the go-to choice for a laid-back ride. With wide seats, upright handlebars, and a single-speed setup, these bikes are designed for pure comfort. The ride stays smooth whether biking down the boardwalk or taking the long way to lunch.
Thanks to their rust-free frames and puncture-resistant tires, they’re also ideal for island conditions—sun, sand, and salt air included.
Why Ride With Just Beachy IOP?
We carry Priority Bicycles, which are known for their durable, rust-resistant parts and low-maintenance design, which are perfect for coastal rides. Every bike in our fleet is tuned and cleaned before each rental, so you’ll never have to worry about flat tires or squeaky brakes.
We’re based locally, so we know the area well and can deliver bikes straight to your vacation rental on Sullivan’s Island or even provide bike rentals to Wild Dunes, SC.
Not sure about helmet size or seat height? We’ll get you fitted on-site, ensuring you’re comfortable and safe before rolling out.
Booking is simple too. Reserve online or give us a quick call, and we’ll make sure everything’s ready when you are.
Planning Your Ride
There’s no wrong way to bike Sullivan’s Island, but here are a few favorite spots to get started:
- Fort Moultrie. This historic fort is a quick, easy ride from most IOP beach rentals and well worth the trip. With wide-open views, ocean breezes, and plenty of space to wander, it’s a great break from the beach and an easy add-on to any afternoon ride.
- Station 22. This beach access point is a favorite spot for golden hour. Ride out in the late afternoon and catch the sky lighting up over the water—easily one of the best sunset views on the island.
- Sullivan’s Island Lighthouse. The lighthouse is a great break area and a fun place to snap photos. It’s easy to reach by bike and a nice location to stop for water and a snack before riding on.
Looking for a longer ride? Take your cruiser over to the Isle of Palms via the connecting bridge. It’s easy to cross, and you’ll get amazing views of the marsh and waterway. If you’re packing drinks for a beach day, don’t forget to check out our Isle of Palms cooler rentals—they’re ideal for storing cold drinks and snacks for the ride.
